Keith David saw a tweet of him being suggested to play Thor’s rival and friend Beta Ray Bill and he was all for it.

After what seemed like forever, the Thor: Love and Thunder trailer was finally released. We saw so much from the upcoming Marvel Cinematic Universe film in less than a couple of minutes. Thor is giving up fighting for peace, Valkyrie is still King of New Asgard, and Jane Foster looks amazing as Mighty Thor. We’ve yet to see Christian Bale as Gorr the God Butcher. Hopefully, he’ll be just as impressive as what we’ve already seen.

Fans of the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s Thor have seen a lot of Thor characters in his past three solo movies. Loki, Valkyrie, and Hela are only a few of the beings close to the Odinson and the lore that surrounds him. If you’ve seen Thor: Ragnarok, you may have recognized Beta Ray Bill on the champion’s structure.

Beta Ray Bill is a character fans would love to see appear in the MCU. Something else that could make his possible movie debut popular would be a familiar person playing him. That person could be Keith David.

Keith David is a popular actor and voice actor. He’s voiced Goliath in the Gargoyles franchise, Frank in the cult favorite They Live, Spawn in the animated series and in the recent Mortal Kombat, and so much more. He has a voice that everyone recognizes and a smile that people love. And it appears he would be open to voicing Beta Ray Bill in the MCU.

On Twitter, David was recently asked if he would voice Beta Ray Bill in the MCU. He responded, “In a NY minute!”

At the age of 65, Keith David is older than some action stars. However, as seen in action and comic book movies, age doesn’t mean much. He could easily voice the character while someone else does the action. Or, maybe he pulls a WIllem Dafoe and does the stunts he can. Regardless, if he appeared in a future Thor movie or voiced the character, he would be appreciated by fans. Keith David is a legend that would be a welcomed addition to any Marvel Studios or Thor movie.

Next. Thor just became Marvel’s strongest character. dark
