Using Layla

In a lot of video games, you don’t always use the main character. Spider-Man on PlayStation is a perfect example. Throughout the game, you end up using Mary Jane or Miles Morales to sneak around areas. This is one of the few times not playing as the main character doesn’t drag the game down. The reason it didn’t happen here isn’t just because they were fun to use. People playing the game actually cared about MJ and Miles. This could happen with Moon Knight.

Layla El-Faouly is a great character in Moon Knight on Disney Plus. A debate can be made that she’s better than Marc Spector and Steven Grant. Using her in a video game wouldn’t be a bad idea. Not only could she get around and be sneaky, she can fight as well. That takes away from the slow pace that some gamers may have.

Beyond those two things, the creative team could allow her to fight in ways Marc, Steven, and Jake Lockley can’t do. Adding another level of fun for players.

If this season ends with Layla becoming the avatar of Khonshu, maybe she can put on the suit as well. It may not be throughout the game, but even a little while would be cool. At the very least, let her have the suit as an add-on.
