Doctor Strange 2: Is Reed Richards in Multiverse of Madness?

There is a lot of speculation over whether we’ll see Reed Richards aka Mr. Fantastic in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, but will he appear or is it pure speculation?

There are a lot of characters Marvel fans have been dying to see appear in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. While the MCU has introduced audiences to dozens of characters pulled from the pages of Marvel Comics over the course of its vast catalog of movies and shows, there are still many more sitting in the wings waiting for their chance to shine.

Among those waiting to make their way to the MCU are characters from two of Marvel’s most iconic franchises: the X-Men and Fantastic Four.

While it looked like we’d never see characters from the two franchises in the MCU, that all changed when Disney acquired 20th Century Fox which restored ownership of the two franchises to Marvel. Following the move, fans have been counting down the days until characters from the franchises would arrive in the MCU.

There are a lot of characters from the two franchises fans have been hoping to see, including the Fantastic Four’s faithful leader Reed Richards aka Mr. Fantastic. Fans have been longing to see the character appear in the MCU, frequently theorizing about when he could pop up with the release of each new MCU project. So could his debut finally be coming in Multiverse of Madness?

Is Reed Richards in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness?

If rumors are to be believed, Reed Richards will indeed make his MCU debut in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness as the character of Mr. Fantastic will appear in the movie. Not only will we get to see Reed Richards making his MCU debut, but it appears the character will be played by actor John Krasinski!

Leaked footage from the film offered up a clear look at Krasinski suited up as Mr. Fantastic in what is sure to be one of the most-talked-about moments of the film.

The arrival of Mr. Fantastic in the MCU is something fans have been anxiously awaiting with Krasinski having long been the favorite for the role among fans.

There was speculation the character would appear in WandaVision when, in the fifth episode of WandaVision, Captain Monica Rambeau mentioned knowing an aerospace engineer who could perhaps help them to solve the mysterious anomaly created by Wanda Maximoff. The theory among audiences was that the engineer would end up being Reed Richards, but alas that was not the case.

Luckily, it seems fans will finally get the chance to see Mr. Fantastic arrive in the MCU in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness!
