The end of Spider-Man: No Way Home and Morbius confirmed that the MCU and the Sony Marvel Universe have a connection. It’s unlikely that Venom will make a giant impact in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. However, there is a chance we’ll briefly see him.
Despite what the internet may say, Tom Hardy has been a popular Venom and Eddie Brock. Comic book fans may not love him, but both Venom movies have made money and there will be a third project. Having another appearance of everyone’s favorite symbiote could happen.
1. Doctor Strange from What If…
The other Doctor Strange we see in the Multiverse of Madness trailers looks to have gone mad. Also, in one of the trailers, Charles Xavier asked what kind of Doctor Strange the MCU’s version is. That acknowledges that they’ve met one or more Stephen Strange The dark and possibly evil one could be one from their universe. This writer thinks he’s the one from What If…?
During the final episode of What if…? Stephen Strange has a mysterious look while looking at the sphere he was told to protect. Within it holds a power that can get him out of the universe he destroyed. Strange could have used it already and met the Illuminati. Or, they sought him out. He’s possibly one of the most powerful beings in the MCU. Recruiting him only makes sense.
