How does Moon Knight rank among the other MCU shows on Disney Plus?

Marvel’s latest series on Disney Plus, Moon Knight is definitely a huge success. It’s an original take on the character but it’s well done. Fans want a season 2 already.

It’s first season has now concluded, but how does it compare to the other Marvel Cinematic Universe shows on Disney Plus? Here’s a ranking of all MCU shows on the streaming service.

6. What If… ?

Now this one is one of the most hyped Disney+ MCU originals. Marvel’s What If…? adapts the comic concept of alternate realities. The stories in the first season remained within the storytelling confines of the Infinity Saga only and the art style is fantastic.

The series started off pretty well with the Captain Carter episode and it had more good episodes throughout, like the T’Challa one and Doctor Strange one, but overall it really isn’t as good as some of the other MCU series.

5. Hawkeye

Hawkeye is set after the events of Avengers: Endgame and it really is a good Christmas show. The series itself is pretty good for the most part and both the lighting and cinematography were good too. The most sweet part, though, came from Kate Bishop and Clint Barton’s team-up.

Though it definitely was a little disappointing towards the end, it still was a fun show. The big cameo of The Kingpin was a huge disappointment for some fans.

4. The Falcon And The Winter Soldier

The Falcon and the Winter Soldier picks up after Steve Rogers handed the shield to Sam Wilson in Avengers: Endgame. Although the series started off slow, the adventure of Bucky and Sam definitely lived up to Captain America’s legacy.

Yes, it’s far from being perfect but it explored much stronger themes than most of MCU projects and the chemistry between both the main characters was amazing

3. WandaVision

Marvel Studios debuted on the streaming platform in a great way with WandaVision. This was the start of Phase Four of the MCU and Marvel started trying different things in this phase.

WandaVision was a tribute to classic sitcoms, while also being an exploration of grief and lost love. Elizabeth Olsen delivered a great performance in this that resulted in a lot of acclaim and award nominations. Yes, the ending wasn’t as satisfying to a lot of fans but there’s no denying that WandaVision is an amazing show.

2. Moon Knight

Even though it was quite different from its comic lore, Disney Plus Moon Knight was amazing. Egyptian mythology is always interesting and it’s explored in a great way in this show.

Oscar Isaac clearly carries the show but the effort from the creators is also visible. Having great action, memorable characters as well as music, this is definitely one of the best MCU shows yet. Furthermore, they actually gave the show a satisfying ending in the six-episode format. But we need a season 2 definitely. We need to see more.

1. Loki

Loki had some of the best visuals, set pieces and characters across all of the MCU shows on Disney Plus. It’s actually crazy how much they covered in just six episodes while having a great ending too that set up Phase Four’s overarching multiverse plot. A lot of effort from the creative team went in making this show. Moreover, it highlighted why Loki is one of the best characters in the MCU.

All these shows had great acting but when it comes to the whole cast? Loki stays at the top. It was also very funny, sad, mysterious, emotional as well as very intriguing.

All six episodes of Moon Knight can be watched on Disney Plus.
