Can these 14 comic book characters beat Star Wars’ Sith Lord Darth Vader?

May the Fourth has almost become an actual holiday. Fans of Star Wars will post “May the Fourth be with you” in honor of the classic Star Wars phrase, “May the Force be with you.” A clever play of words. It’s a  fantastic way to pay homage to one of the premiere sci-fi franchises of all time.

There is a crossover between Star Wars and comic book fans. Both of them take their favorite characters seriously. For Star Wars fans, no one is more untouchable than Darth Vader. He’s among the greatest villains of all time. If you’ve read the comics, then you know the movies didn’t do him justice. He’s scarier in the comics. As good as he is, however, we’ve seen that he isn’t unbeatable.

Like every fictional character, even the Sith Lord Darth Vader can be defeated. It wouldn’t be easy, but it is possible. Are there comic book characters that can beat him? Vader has a lot of powers and skills that make him a force to be reckoned with. Coming up, we have popular comic book characters that may or may not be able to beat Darth Vader.

15. Scarlet Witch

This would be a fight of wills. What’s more powerful, the Force or Chaos Magic? Can the Scarlet Witch’s abilities best the Force? Is Vader’s will stronger than Wanda’s?

This writer goes with Scarlet Witch. Her abilities can cause his suit to malfunction. If Vader can’t breathe, the fight is over.
