Julian Hilliard and Jett Klyne as Billy and Tommy

Where have you seen them before? Julian Hilliard and Jett Klyne first originated their roles as Billy and Tommy in Disney Plus’s original series WandaVision. In the series, they play Wanda and Vision’s twin boys and the pair reprised those roles in Doctor Strange 2.

Multiverse of Madness role: In Multiverse of Madness, we get to see alternate versions of both Billy and Tommy living happily with a variant of Wanda. The boys also help Scarlet Witch realize the gravity of what she has done when America transports Wanda back to the universe where the Wanda she took control over earlier in the film resides. Heartbroken to see the alternate versions of her sons shudder in fear upon her arrival, terrified she’ll harm them, Wanda vows to destroy the Darkhold so that no one in any universe can ever use its magic to do harm again.

Do they die in Multiverse of Madness? Fortunately, neither Billy nor Tommy die in Doctor Strange 2 as the pair are very much alive when we last see them in the movie. It does, however, remain unclear if we’ve seen the last of the pair in the MCU.

Michael Stuhlbarg as Dr. Nic West

Where have you seen them before? Dr. Nic West might look familiar to you because he previously appeared in Doctor Strange. In that film, Dr. West was the doctor who came to the rescue of Stephen Strange following his life-threatening car accident. In the movie, West was the doctor who operated on Stephen and was able to save his life but not his hands, which was what set Stephen on his path to becoming the sorcerer he is today.

Multiverse of Madness role: In Multiverse of Madness, Michael Stuhlbarg reprised his role in an unexpected cameo which found him bumping into Stephen at the wedding of Christine Palmer. During the encounter, West revealed that he had been snapped away which resulted in him missing the deaths of his beloved cats… and brother.

During their brief exchange, West questions whether there was any other way to have saved the world from Thanos which Stephen assured him there was not.

Do they die in Multiverse of Madness? Unless it happened off-screen, which we don’t anticipate having happened, Dr. Nic West did not die in the film.

Clea tells Strange he must come with her to save the day, which he agrees to. We see a glimpse of his third eye and the pair enter the portal just as the scene fades to black.
