Doctor Strange 2 runtime: How long is the Multiverse of Madness?
Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness is here. If you’re planning on checking it out, you might want to know how long Doctor Strange 2 is.
Marvel fans are incredibly excited about the fact that the most recent movie in the MCU franchise, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, has arrived in movie theaters.
Starring Benedict Cumberbatch, Elizabeth Olsen, Rachel McAdams and Benedict Wong, the movie brings back Marvel Cinematic Universe favorites Stephen Strange, Wanda Maximoff / Scarlet Witch, Dr. Christine Palmer and Wong, while also introducing us to Xochitl Gomez’s brilliant America Chavez.
Directed by Sam Raimi, it will see the characters traverse the multiverse in an adventure that is being described as “darker” than any of its MCU predecessors.
If you’re interested in seeing the movie in the days or weeks ahead, you might want to know how long the Marvel adventure runs for. With that in mind, let’s discuss its runtime.
How long is Doctor Strange 2?
Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness has a runtime of 2 hours and 6 minutes.
That’s on average for an MCU film but it is considerably shorter than fans were expecting it to be given that it’s rumored to contain some huge cameos and that it’s coming off the heels of previous multiverse-spanning movie Spider-Man: No Way Home (which had a runtime of 2 hours and 30 minutes).
Nevertheless, there is plenty of excitement for the madness that the multiverse is about to unleash on the MCU.
