Heartstopper stars reveal who they would love to appear in season 2

Who would Heartstopper stars Joe Locke and Kit Connor like to see appear on season 2  of the Netflix show?

Excuse the pun, but Heartstopper quickly found its way into the hearts of millions of people. The Netflix series debuted on April 22 (just three weeks ago!) and it has already racked up millions of watch-time minutes and countless fans across the world.

It also turned stars Joe Locke and Kit Connor – who play Charlie Spring and Nick Nelson on the show – into overnight sensations, with the pair suddenly finding themselves at the center of so many conversations after Heartstopper premiered to rave reviews from critics and an incredibly strong performance on the streamer.

The show has yet to be officially renewed for a second season, but there has been plenty of theories about where the story could go if it is. Locke and Connor have their own ideas, particularly when it comes to guest stars they’d like to see appear on the show.

And after the unexpected appearance from Olivia Colman in the first season, it’s safe to say anything can happen in Heartstopper.

Joe Locke and Kit Connor talk dream guest stars on Heartstopper season 2

In a recent interview with Variety, the pair talked about who they would like to guest star. Kit referenced Locke and Key‘s Connor Jessup as someone “very keen to be involved”, adding “I’m sure we can get him involved somehow.”

Locke chose Jennifer Coolidge as his dream choice, suggesting that she could play his grandmother as that would be “so cool”. He also said that he would love to have a scene with Nick’s mom next season so that he could have the chance to work with Olivia Colman. And honestly, who can blame him for wanting that?

Here’s hoping that all of these possibilities become more tangible and that Netflix renews the beloved show for a second season!
