The Boys season 3 trailer reveals that the show is better than ever

The newest trailer for The Boys season 3 on Amazon Prime Video will get fans pumped for its debut on June 3.

The Boys Season 3 on Amazon Prime Video is right around the corner. There has been a lot of news involving what to expect. For example, Jensen Ackles is playing Soldier Boy and the Herogasm storyline will be adapted with an entire episode. Those were only two of the things we knew about before the first trailer debuted.

The debut trailer for season 3 showed Butcher with powers, a possible musical episode, and Homelander having soulless looking eyes. While that one was good, the newest trailer looked even better and showed more of what’s to come.

Homelander

The biggest part of The Boys season 3’s newest trailer was The Seven’s leader and Vought International’s biggest money maker Homelander. It starts with him on a press run about his relationship with Stormfront. After the world found out she was a Nazi, he told every news station that he was a man that fell in love with the wrong woman. Viewers saw the same soulless eyes. That’s scary enough, but that wasn’t the worst part. Homelander threw someone off a roof. Instead of fear, people cheered him on. With the public behind him, Homelander is right: He can do whatever he wants.

Fans of The Boys should be concerned about Homelander. He’s always been aggressive, but this is different. There’s a reason behind his anger and lack of empathy. His heart was broken. For the first time, he found someone who loved him. Even if she was using him, there was passion. Homelander’s emotionally stunted. There was no way this was going to end well. This season will begin the road to the series finale and it starts with Homelander.

The Boys

The end of season 2 showed Hughie Campbell working with Victoria Neuman on her political campaign. The ending also revealed that she was the one blowing up people’s heads. The newest trailer showed that Butcher was following Hughie’s orders – something that must be driving him crazy. As everyone assumed, Hughie being in charge didn’t last long. Hughie realizes that Butcher’s ruthless ideas may have been the right way all along.

There were two things that came with The Boys’ newest plan. First, Butcher was going to get powers. Fans saw this before, however, we now know that the powers only last 24 hours. Butcher’s teammates have issues with this, but it’s doubtful they won’t follow. It’s likely that Butcher will force them to take it. At the very least, Hughie will. Also, this writer wouldn’t be shocked if the powers were permanent. The second part of the plan comes in the next section.

Soldier Boy

Soldier Boy (played by Jensen Ackles) came out of hibernation at the end of the first trailer for season 3 of The Boys. It looked like the Winter Soldier. Little was known about Soldier Boy and how he’d fit into this season. The newest trailer revealed that he’s nothing like the version in the comics. This Soldier Boy’s scarier and way more powerful.

Apparently, there’s more to him than anyone thought. When Soldier Boy was awakened, he unleashed an energy blast out of his chest. In the comics, his powers were more like Captain America with peak physical strength and speed. It isn’t just the powers. Fans have to wonder what Soldier Boy will do when he sees this new world. He may be responsible for the incident that caused hundreds of deaths.

The incident

The trailer showed a destroyed building – something that may have been caused by someone with powers. The most likely individual may be Soldier Boy. That means the responsibility falls directly on Butcher’s head. Even worse, Marvin Milk’s (M.M.) family may have been in the building.

In The Boys comic book, The Seven were responsible for the destruction of the Brooklyn Bridge. The public believes it was terrorists. In actuality, their heroes caused the incident. There has to be a reason that Marvin’s family was shown happy in the trailer. Usually, this means something tragic is going to happen. Since M.M. has the most to lose, it would make sense. Plus, in the comics, M.M. was on the bridge when it happened.

This writer will leave you readers with one more thing, The Boys Season 3 could very well be better, bloodier, and more tragic than anything you’ve seen.
