These 12 comic book characters would either defeat or dominate the Scarlet Witch.
Wanda Maximoff showed the world what the Marvel Cinematic Universe‘s Scarlet Witch is capable of in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. However, Marvel Comics fans have known what she’s capable of for years.
First, Wanda took on the Avengers by herself in a state of confusion in Avengers: Disassembled. After that, she changed the entire 616 universe during House of M. Then, towards the end of the series, she almost abolished the entire mutant gene with three words (“No more mutants”).
If you’ve seen Doctor Strange 2, then you saw how dominant she can be. Nevertheless, she isn’t exactly unbeatable.

Let’s call it like it is. The Scarlet Witch easily beat most of the Illuminati. The only person who put up a real fight was Captain Marvel. Black Bolt’s defeat may have been the most memorable. The memes about it on Twitter have been amazing. However, if Reed Richards’ arrogance hadn’t given away Black Bolt’s secret, could she withstand his great power? Wanda had a problem keeping Captain Marvel in check. It’s doubtful that she could handle Black Bolt’s mouth.
Wanda was more powerful than anyone during Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. That being said, no one is unbeatable. Even gods and Eternals can lose. Coming up are 12 comic book characters that could defeat the MCU’s Wanda Maximoff.
