She-Hulk on Disney Plus trailer reveals a new kind of Marvel Studios show
By Mark Lynch
2. The Abomination
The Abomination made his return to the Marvel Cinematic Universe in Shang Chi, when we saw him in an arena fighting Wong for money. This was the first time we’ve seen him since The Incredible Hulk back in 2008. Now, however, we know he’ll be back in She-Hulk.
Tim Roth was previously confirmed to reprise the role, so it wasn’t shocking to see him in the trailer. The interesting part is if he’ll be defended by Jennifer Walters in court or not. Emil Blonsky was a jerk before he became the Abomination. He chose to take the serum that changed him and he willingly caused ma lot of property damage in Harlem. All of this was due to his arrogance and need to beat the Hulk.
If Jennifer has to represent Blonsky, her defense will be interesting to say the least.
1. She-Hulk embracing herself
She-Hulk is one of the strongest women in comic books and that means much more than her physical strength. She has always been someone who’s embraced her femininity. Granted, there have been times when she’s been insecure, but that’s powerful in itself. Coming to terms with your feelings is true power.
Jennifer going on dates in the She-Hulk trailer and knowing what she wants was great to see. Her carrying her date to the room was funny, but it was a great moment. It was a guy acknowledging that he wasn’t the strong one and Jennifer embracing that. No shyness, just her loving her life.
Lastly, she seems to be going from shy Jennifer to the Sensational She-Hulk. She was shown wearing dresses that showed off her statuesque features, muscles, and a body that her friends loved. This show is going to truly welcome and embrace women’s strengths – and we’re so here for that!
