Gorr

"“The only ones who gods care about is themselves. So this is my vow. All gods must die” – Gorr"

This writer has been waiting to see what Christian Bale would look like as Gorr the God Butcher. He wasn’t disappointed. He looked as creepy and evil as you’d want a villain to be. That look will break up the goofy jokes and shenanigans in the movie. Not only that, Gorr is out for blood like he was in Jason Aaron’s Thor: God of Thunder.

In the comics, Gorr blames the gods for his life being ruined. In some ways, he has a point. After killing the gods that ruined his life, he took their Necrosword and made a vow. He was going to kill every god that ever existed or would in the future. In order to do that, he needed a god bomb. It looks like the giant planet-like thing viewers saw could be the MCU version of that bomb.

Christian Bale’s Gorr will be just as evil and almost as unstoppable as he was in the comic. That will make his inevitable defeat even better. With Christian Bale playing him, look for this to be as memorable as Loki, Hela, and maybe even Thanos. We’ve seen how great of an actor he is. This won’t be any different.
