7 major comic book moments fans should know about (May 2022)

6. An army of Doctor Dooms
Comics book: Avengers Forever No. 5
Jason Aaron’s Avengers introduced the Multiversal Masters of Evil. A group of villains that have been more ruthless than anything we’ve seen. Among them is their leader Doctor Doom. Or, as he’s been called, the Doom Above all. It was unclear how powerful he was. Although, keeping a teenage-like Thanos, Norman Osborn as the Ghost Rider, and Killmonger in Asgardian Destroyer armor in check says a lot. Avengers Forever No. 5 shows more than that.
The Doom Above All doesn’t use Doom-Bots. He takes Dooms from alternate realities, tortures them until they’re brainwashed, and makes them his slaves. Among them is a Doom that’s an actual planet.
5. Someone is killing former students
Comic book: Deadly Class No. 52
Marcus and Maria left their life of murder behind them in Deadly Class No. 51. It wasn’t just the two love birds. Almost all of their former classmates stopped killing. Helmut is chunky, happy, and still loves death metal. Zenzele and Tosahwi are still together and seem very much in love. Then there was Stephen. He was living the suburban life with his partner. Again, another former student from King’s Dominion seemed happy. As he was about to turn in, he found his partner dead. Soon after, he was killed as well. If this writer had to guess, Shabnam is out to kill everyone who crossed him.
