4. From New York to Europe

Comic book: Fear Itself

The God of Fear (Odin’s brother Cul Borson) was released from his prison. With it came seven hammers that were given to seven different Marvel characters. Juggernaut, Titania, Crusher Creel, Attuma, Grey Gargoyle, Ben Grimm, and The Hulk. These hammers amplified the users’ powers. As if the Hulk and Ben Grimm needed to get stronger. Without any control of themselves, the two heroes fought Thor.

Thor tried his best to hold back while fighting Ben, but realized he couldn’t. The Odinson put a hole in Ben Grimm to stop him (Ben would have died if not for Franklin Richards bringing him back). Then, it was on to the Hulk. Thor charged his body, swung his hammer, and hit the Hulk harder than anyone has. The Hulk was struck so hard that he went from New York and landed in Eastern Europe.

3. Weird lineage

Comic book: Thor No. 4 (by J. Michael Straczynski), Avengers: Enter the Phoenix,

Thor’s lineage is more confusing than Wolverine’s. At least we can pinpoint who Logan’s parents are. In Jason Aaron’s Avengers: Enter the Phoenix, we find out that the Odinson’s mother is the Phoenix. He recently used her powers in Avengers No. 54, when he unleashed the Phoenix’s power. However, he has a connection to Gaea as well. On more than a few occasions, the God of Thunder has called up her power over the Earth. At this point, who knows who his mother is. We could find out someone else gave birth to him.
