These 33 performers would slay as these comic book characters.

Now that things are slowly getting back to normal, we’ve seen that more comic book movies and TV shows are beginning to film again. Season 3 of Amazon Prime’s The Boys begins in June. Ms. Marvel and She-Hulk are on their way to Disney Plus in June and August respectively. Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness arrived in theaters last month and Thor: Love and Thunder is on its way to theaters next month.

Now that things are back to business, new performers will audition and be cast in new comic book projects. With a world full of famous actors, who should play our favorite comic book characters?

On this list you’ll see a lot of familiar names. Some of them have already been in comic book projects or are currently in one, but shouldn’t stop them from being in more projects. There are plenty of people who’ve played more than one comic book role.

With that said, here are 33 performers who we should see in a major Marvel, DC or comic book property in the future.

33. Janelle Monáe

Janelle Monáe has proven herself to be a good actress. You honestly don’t need to look any further than Moonlight and Hidden Figures. She’s proven to be able to hold her own among the best performers. She would be perfect as Sojourner Mullein. She can even pull the hair off. Monáe has the confident attitude that the greatest detective in the galaxy requires. And even if she doesn’t play this role in a live-action project, she could voice the role in an animated series – she’s that perfect for it.
