33 actors we need to see in major comic book movies and TV shows

14. Daisy Ridley
Daisy Ridley was given a lot of unwarranted criticism for her role in Star Wars episodes 7-8. In reality, she was never the problem. When a performer is given a script, the good ones will do whatever they can to own the character and look good. Daisy Ridley did that and then some.
Daisy Ridley would be a great choice to play Black Canary. While Jurnee Smollett is set to reprise the role from her previous appearance in Birds of Prey (And the Fantabulous Emancipation of one Harley Quinn) in a HBO Max movie, we can dream that we could see Ridley play an alternate version in a future film, TV series or animated property.
We’ve seen that she’s tough. She took time to properly learn how to use a sword when preparing for Star Wars. Imagine what she’d do if she’s cast as one of toughest and best fighters in all of comics. Maybe we’ll get lucky and see her next to Batgirl and the Birds of Prey in a future project.

13. Sarah Paulson
Sarah Paulson has been amazing in everything she’s been in. American Horror Story, Ratched, and American Crime Story are her most recent and notable roles. She’s played desperate, angry, conniving, a drug addict, and so much more. It wouldn’t take much for her to step into a comic book role.
One of Paulson’s best attributes is being angry. When she gets in a rage, it’s so believable. The part that makes it scary is when she flips the switch from being calm. At some point, Marvel Studios is likely going to bring in Charles Xavier’s sister Cassandra Nova. When that happens, give this role to Sarah Paulson. Both attributes mentioned will help her dominate this role.
