Zachary Quinto, comic book

28. Zachary Quinto

This writer wrote an article about some of the villains that Zachary Quinto could play. Among those characters were Fantastic Four irritant The Wizard and Batman’s annoying enemy The Riddler. As this writer looks back, there’s one antagonist that should have been mentioned. Zachary Quinto would be perfect as Brainiac.

In Heroes and American Horror Story, Quinto played characters that were cerebral as well as physical. Both things Brainiac is capable of. Granted, Braniac uses machines to do the heavy lifting. On top of that, Quinto plays smug perfectly. It’s easy to see him talking down to Superman or anyone in the DC Comics universe.

Anya Taylor-Joy, comic book, The New Mutants

27. Anya Taylor-Joy

Anya Taylor-Joy got her shot at a comic book movie in The New Mutants. Despite the movie being average at best, she was the bright spot in it. She captured Magik’s arrogant personality flawlessly. It’s a shame that the movie let her down. Otherwise she could come back as Illyana Rasputin.

Anya Taylor-Joy has shown that she can do a little bit of everything. The one role that she could kill is Raven Darkholme a.k.a. Mystique. Mystique can be seductive and switch to violent in seconds. Taylor-Joy would have no problem doing this.
