26. Diane Guerrero

Diane Guerrero has already been in a couple of DC Comics projects. The one she’s most known for is playing Crazy Jane in Doom Patrol. A role that she’s been crushing. The other was Justice League vs the Fatal Five where she voiced Green Lantern Jessica Cruz. It’s time we saw more of that.

Last year, Diane Guerrero was asked who she would like to play. She said, “Jessica Cruz, Green Lantern! That’s my next DC character, just to put it out there…” She has the ability and the want to play her. It doesn’t even have to be live action. Since she’s in Doom Patrol, she may be busy to appear in another live-action DC project. However, she could continue to voice her in an ongoing DC Comics project.

25. Vella Lovell

Vella Lovell gained popularity from the hit show Crazy Ex-Girlfriend. This show displayed her acting ability, as well as her singing, and dancing abilities. She carried that momentum voicing Mermista in Netflix’s She-Ra and the Princesses of Power. Both characters are sarcastic and somewhat cynical. It’s easy to picture her playing or voicing a few characters from Brian K. Vaughan and Fiona Staples’ Saga.

The first character this writer thought of was Alana. Vella Lovell would be a great pick as the strong and protective character. It would also be good to see her in a lead role. Then there’s the spirit babysitter Izabel. Her sarcasm fits her perfectly. Lastly, there’s Marko’s ex Gwendolyn. A character that screams Vella Lovell.
