8. Ammit

Played by: Saba Mubarak

Ammit appeared in one episode and was a force. Saba Mubarak made sure that Ammit wasn’t a disappointment. She sounded strong, manipulative, and even believed the things she was saying. Mubarak’s voice coming from the god was captivating. It was easy to see why Arthur Harrow followed her.

When Ammit eventually became giant, she beat down Khonshu with ease, showing that she wasn’t all talk. She could back it up, too. It’s disappointing that she was killed along with Harrow. The Marvel Cinematic Universe could have used more of her. Then again, no one stays dead in comics. Especially not gods.

7. Jake Lockley

Played by: Oscar Isaac

Jake Lockley appeared on the show for less than two minutes. Viewers may not have seen him before then, but his presence was felt throughout the show. In episode 1, he asked a woman out on a date (it certainly wasn’t Marc or Steven). Later we saw moments where Marc and Steven would black out and neither of them knew what happened. That was Jake taking over.

In the final episode, we see that Jake is still Khonshu’s avatar and seems to do whatever he wants. Among those things is killing, and not just Arthur Harrow. Jake murdered innocent people in a hospital in order to get to Harrow. This shows that a character doesn’t always need to be seen, at first, to make an impact.
