6. Taweret

Played by: Antonia Salib

Sometimes a character in a show is too out of place. This is one of those cases. Taweret is too nice to be in Moon Knight. She doesn’t seem to be as mean, selfish, or oblivious as the other gods we’ve seen. As out of place as she was, she was perfect for this show as well.

Taweret broke up the anger and violence that came with Moon Knight. She was sweet, understanding, and helped Layla in the final episode. Everything about her fit the need for the final two episodes as well. That goes beyond giving Layla powers and a suit. Without her, things wouldn’t have ended well on the show.

5. Marc Spector

Played by: Oscar Isaac

Marc Spector was once the dominant personality. When the trauma in his life became too much, the line was blurred. Marc and Steven Grant switched without warning and neither could stop the other. This leads to a lot of hijinks between the two

Marc’s character started straight forward. He had a mission. He was the avatar of Khonshu and that prevented Layla from taking his place. As the show continued, Marc became a deeper character. Viewers learned that a lot went into him being the person he became. The abuse from his mother, not being able to face her shiva, and almost dying led to him becoming someone deep.
