4. The heroes that came before her
When Kamala put on her grandmother’s bracelet, a glow came over her body. She was confused, but then something else happened. She had a spiritual and cosmic moment. Kamala briefly went to a place and saw multiple people in another realm. They were most likely people who wielded the power before her.
This could be the most important moment of the series. As we’ve seen from Black Panther, Moon Knight, and other comic book characters, certain powers have a lineage. Kamala may not be the first to have that power. This writer assumes that her grandmother was the last one to use that bracelet. Maybe the powers differ from person to person. We’ll have to wait and see if the power lineage is true.
3. Kamala’s mother and the bracelet
Muneeba Khan (Kamala’s mother) received a package from her mother. Kamala opened it and came across a bracelet. Muneeba was less than happy about seeing it. In fact, she looked worried and scared. Muneeba immediately takes it away from her daughter and calls it junk. This will lead to most viewers thinking that Muneeba knows more than she lets on.
Muneeba’s face was too disturbed for this to be nothing. Add that to Kamala seeing the people with powers that came before her saying this should be mentioned. Did Muneeba use the bracelet and give up on the family’s lineage? Was Muneeba’s mother the last person to use the power? What if Muneeba never wanted the responsibility? Whatever happens, we’ll certainly find out before the season finale.
