2. Kamala saves Zoe

In Marvel Comics, Kamala Khan saved Zoe on her first time out as Ms. Marvel. That moment changed Zoe’s life forever. She didn’t know that Kamala was the hero who saved her life. Nevertheless, she became a better person after that. She even became closer friends with Kamala and Nakia. There was a similar moment during Avengercon in the first episode of Ms. Marvel.

The first person Kamala saved in this show as Ms. Marvel was Zoe. Without her, Zoe would have been severely hurt or killed. A near-death experience will change anyone. However, having the change happen this early in the show would be weird. A bully’s transformation into a nice person normally happens gradually over time.

1. End credit scene

A mid or end-credit scene is always important. This writer didn’t expect one in the first episode of Ms. Marvel. Especially not one that’s normally reserved for a season finale. Viewers see two agents from a mystery organization notice Kamala save people during Avengercon. They said they’ve never seen powers like hers and to bring her in.

Whoever the two people were, they probably aren’t good people. Them wanting to bring her in normally means something nefarious. The question is whether they want her to register or if it’s a secret group that wants her put away. There’s no guarantee that they’re working for someone legit.
