Superman and Lois season 2 ratings: How is The CW show performing?
Superman and Lois season 2 has been on and off The CW more times than fans can count. Has this had any kind of significant impact on its ratings?
Superman and Lois is one of the biggest hits that The CW has seen in a very long time. An offshoot of the Arrowverse franchise, it’s led by slightly altered versions of the characters we met on Supergirl, with Tyler Hoechlin and Elizabeth Tulloch reprising the roles as the title characters.
The first season premiered on The CW back in February 2023 and it garnered the network its best Tuesday night ratings in years and the best DC series premiere since 2019. It also received critical acclaim, with many calling it the best Arrowverse series and one of the very best new shows on TV.
Its second season has been airing on the network since January 2022. Given that its first season was so successful, there was a lot of intrigue surrounding season 2 to see if it could match its predecessor’s success – especially given all of the times it has had to go on hiatus.
With that in mind, how has Superman and Lois season 2 been performing?
Superman and Lois season 2 ratings

As you can see from those numbers, Superman and Lois continues to be one of the top two performers on The CW (the other one being Walker). It returned strong with a season premiere that almost matched the ratings of the first five episodes of season 1 and then produced a second episode that performed even better.
The numbers have decreased somewhat throughout its run, which is to be expected for any show. While the hiatuses may have had something of an effect, with the occasional dip in numbers standing out, it has held steady, bringing in an average of 800K viewers throughout its run.
Those impressive viewing figures were more than enough to ensure that it was renewed for a third season.
