Marvel Studios’ Ms. Marvel returns for episode 2 on Disney Plus. This time with more crucial moments that have to be mentioned.

Episode 1 of Ms. Marvel set up the first season of the Disney Plus show flawlessly. We learned about Kamala Khan, the Khan family, and Kamala’s status in school and life. Towards the end of the episode, our hero gets her abilities. However, in the second episode, titled “Crushed”, viewers discover that, while Kamala may have gotten her powers from the bracelet, they’re now coming from within her.

That’s not the only thing that Ms. Marvel fans should note. These other five moments are things viewers need to know about.

5. Damage Control

At the end of episode 1 of Ms. Marvel, a mysterious agency takes notice of Kamala’s incident during AvengersCon. The next time we see them, they’re interviewing/interrogating Zoe Zimmer. Since the new hero saved Zoe, they wanted to know everything she observed. At the end of episode 2, we see initials on the back of their jackets that say D.O.D.C. A quick Google search and you’ll find out the initials stand for Department of Damage Control

In Marvel Comics, the Department of Damage Control (or just Damage Control) was in charge of cleaning up battles involving super-powered beings. In the Wolverine Civil War crossover, we find out that their C.E.O. Walter Declun enhanced Nitro’s powers. This way, they’d get more money for the cleanup. Makes you wonder what they’re up to and if Walter Declun is involved.
