2. Wolverine is a funnier character

This category isn’t up for debate. Wolverine is hands down funnier than Batman. Bruce Wayne has his moments, sure, but he’s not known for his humor. It’s usually the other people around him like Alfred, Nightwing, or Catwoman that handle that. Now, this isn’t to say Wolverine is Spider-Man or Deadpool levels of funny, but he is comical. Those heroes are known for their sarcastic humor, puns, and witty banter. For Logan, his cynicism and snarkiness makes him as funny as he is.

During intense situations, Logan will say random things that others won’t. Sometimes it’s at inappropriate times. That makes his comments even funnier, especially when he’s around someone with strict morals like Cyclops or Steve Rogers.

Batman can be funny, but it’s doubtful that readers can think of more than a few moments where he was hilarious. That’s not the case for Wolverine.

1. Wolverine’s villains are deadlier

Yes, Batman has the Joker. He’s the most popular comic book villain of all time. The Dark Knight also has Two-Face, Riddler, and sometimes Harley Quinn and Catwoman. Batman’s enemies are more popular by far. There’s no doubt. However, Wolverine’s enemies are deadlier.

Romulus controlled the world on many levels for literal centuries. Sabretooth is nearly unkillable and makes it a point to torment Logan every chance he gets. Of course there are the zealots and mutant hunting death machines are never ending.

Those are only some of the people that have tried to kill Logan on an almost daily basis. Let’s not forget the Hulk, Mystique, Weapon X, and so many others. Batman has Wolverine beaten when it comes to popular villains. But Logan’s will always be deadlier.
