With Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness debuting on Disney Plus, it’s time to ask these questions about the future of the Doctor Strange franchise.

Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness was a triumph in theaters. Not only at the box office (where it made $900 million world wide), it was the first of its kind for Marvel Studios. Sam Raimi made Doctor Strange 2 a horror movie complete with jump scares and some horrific visuals.

Soon you won’t have to go to the theaters to watch it. Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness is making its debut on Disney Plus June 22nd. Like most Marvel Studios projects, the film ended leaving the audience with questions that needed answering. For example, did Stephen Strange learn to live with his third eye? In the comics, it’s helped him. However, this isn’t Marvel Comics. It’s the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Who knows if it’s a help or hindrance.

6. The world without the illuminati?

The Illuminati helped their Earth run from behind the scenes. It even looked like the world ran without superhuman crime. Even if that’s not true, the Illuminati’s presence will be missed. You can’t take out beings with that much power and influence without expecting fallout, especially since they’re all crucial to their respective teams.

Black Bolt is the leader of the Inhumans. Without their king, what happens to the Inhumans? Charles Xavier is a mutant icon. How are the X-Men going to take finding their mentor and leader dead? Is Captain Carter an Avenger? If so, where does that leave her team? Lastly, there’s the Fantastic Four. Will they continue to be a team and recruit a new member or does this force the team to disband?
