The Flash season 8 bows out with its season finale next week. Before it does, check out the brand new trailer for “Negative, Part 2”.

It seems like a bit of an understatement to stay that Barry Allen has not been having the best time. Ever since he first suited up as the Scarlet Speedster of Central City, he has faced uphill battle after uphill battle.

The most recent of those, taking place across its eighth season, has been the Time Sickness that his wife Iris West-Allen has been inexplicably experiencing, the death of longtime friend and teammate Frost, the fallout from Despero’s arrival in the Armageddon event, the apparent betrayal from Still Force Deon, and the return of the Reverse-Flash.

Many of those stories already reached their boiling point at various points throughout the season, but those that didn’t finally got there in the most recent episode, setting the stage for the show’s season 8 finale.

The episode, titled “Negative, Part 2”, will follow on from the nineteenth episode, picking up where it left off as the storylines that The Flash‘s eighth season has been telling begin to wrap up.

But before it does wrap up, Barry will still be reeling from everything that has transpired, with Team Flash doing their best to support him at a time when he needs it the most.

How will the season come to an end, and will the finale set the stage for the show’s upcoming ninth season?
