What are the five most important moments from episode 3 of Ms. Marvel on Disney Plus? Find out right here.

Ms. Marvel continues to be something special. This writer has never smiled as much as he has watching this show. It’s heartwarming, innocent, and maintains a healthy dose of action without taking away from the vibe of the story. This combination hasn’t been this good since WandaVIsion and continued in the most recent episode Ms. Marvel on Disney Plus.

Episode 3 of Ms. Marvel, “Destined”, had a lot to talk about. Some of them were small like Yusuf Khan (Kamala’s father) buying fruit pies – a nod to old Marvel Comics’ advertisements. Others were huge like Damage Control entering a Mosque and trying to throw their weight around. Thankfully, board members Sheikh Abdullah and Nakia were there to put them in their places.

Here are five other important moments that need to be discussed.

5. The Djinn

When the third episode starts, Najma is telling the story of where they were in British occupied India in 1942 with Kamala’s grandmother Aisha. Najma and her group, the Clandestine, were looking for one of two bangles to get them back to their dimension. That’s right, they aren’t from this Earth. In fact, they’re not human by our standards.

They’re called Noor. One of the other names they’ve gone by is Djinn – beings looked at as evil by some. As the episode goes on, viewers find out why Djinn may have gotten that reputation.
