6. Homelander talks to himself

In The Boys comic book, Homelander started talking to himself. He couldn’t figure out why he couldn’t be the ruthless and depraved person that picture showed him to be because he wasn’t. It was actually Black Noir (readers find this out later). This drove Homelander crazy. To compensate, he started talking to himself. Now he has started doing this in the show too.

Homelander talking to himself spells disaster sooner than later. His new personality is making him do things that he normally wouldn’t, including talking in ways that are unlike him. This writer assumed that Homelander would start his plan for world domination at the season finale. It seems like it’s all but assured now. This could be the beginning of him doing something rash.

5. Victoria Neuman wants to help

Victoria Neuman assumed that she’s as smooth as her father Stan Edgar. She thought that she could play both Homelander and Starlight. She’s scared of Homelander but figured that she could talk Starlight into helping her. Victoria Neuman was wrong.

Starlight immediately let her know that she doesn’t like being used. She refused to be controlled by two people. When Victoria said that Homelander may kill her, Starlight said she didn’t care. A moment that leads to an even better one at the end of the episode and in the last slide.
