4. Ashley checks A-Train

A-Train finally took his head out of his butt and decided that it was time to take a stand. All it took was finally seeing the abuse that Black people have taken from supes  and his brother to end up in the I.C.U. When A-Train confronted Vought International C.E.O. Ashley Barrett, she reminded him of all the messed up things that he’s done. He wasn’t prepared for that. In that moment, Ashley became even more important to Vought and the show. She will undoubtedly continue to get better as the series progresses.

3. Homelander vs. The Boys

Billy Butcher, Soldier Boy, and Hughie got the fight they wanted. It was them against Homelander to the death. It was the first time The Seven’s leader got into a fight where he wasn’t the dominant one. Instead of fighting and being the “hero” that he thinks he is, he flies away.

It wasn’t shocking to see Homelander leave the fight. First, retreating is the smart move. Live to fight another day. Second, Homelander has never been challenged. He never considered that he could lose. The results will be different when Black Noir is fighting by his side. This season could end with the supes being the ones in control.
