The Boys season 3: 7 crucial moments from Herogasm
By Mark Lynch
2. A-Train uses his powers
A-Train’s abuse of Compound V ruined his heart. If he used his powers one more time, it would kill him. After Soldier Boy destroyed Herogasm, A-Train sees Blue Hawk. Instead of talking it out, A-Train uses his powers and kills Blue Hawk. It ends with A-Train stopping and his heart slowing down.
Is the A-Train dead? Killing off this character could lead to Vought International using his death to their advantage. This would make them more hateable and further the story. That said, if he’s alive, he could have a better redemption story. More than just apologizing to Hughie in the middle of Herogasm. Something else that makes the story better.
1. Starlight tells the truth
This was the most important moment of The Boys season 3; maybe even the whole series. Starlight goes live on social media and tells the world the truth, letting everyone know that Homelander is a killer and that most supes are killers as well. She also reveals that Soldier Boy is alive.
The ramifications of this will be huge. Starlight (now going by her real name Annie January) put a target on her head. Knowing her, she’s not going to hide. She will continue to stand tall and be accounted for. Will that be enough? It’s doubtful.
Homelander is evil. He’s capable of twisting everything that Annie said and making her look like the one in fault. Not only does he have the public, he has a trillion dollar empire backing him.
