Here are the most important comic book moments from DC and Marvel Comics.

There have been a lot of incredible comic book moments in the month of June 2022. Moon Knight No. 12 showed Steven Grant take over so Marc Spector wouldn’t kill Zodiac in front of Reese, Deadly Class No. 63 killed off Helmut as he fell for a trap while trying to assassinate Shabnam, and there’s dozens of things going on with the mutants of Krakoa like Mr. Sinister cloning Moira MacTaggert (Immortal X-Men No. 3).

That’s only the start. Here are the other important comic book moments that happened this month.

Slade goes after the Titans

Comic book: Dark Crisis No. 1

Slade Wilson, a.k.a. Deathstroke, was brought back to life in the Lazarus Pit after being killed by Talia al Ghul. When he came out, the water turned black. Deathstroke changed as well. His message, “I have a new contract to finish. We’re killing everyone.” He wasn’t joking. In Dark Crisis No. 1, Deathstroke and everyone he could grab went after the Teen Titans. The first person Slade killed was the Titans’ Beast Boy.

Why is this important?

Beast Boy is one of the most popular characters in the Teen Titans. His death will get fans invested in the rest of the story, especially how Nightwing and the other Titans respond to it. If anything is going to get them riled up, it’s that. Nevertheless, this writer believes it won’t be the last Titan death in Dark Crisis.
