How to watch Thor: Love and Thunder online: Is it on Disney Plus or Netflix?

The Marvel Cinematic Universe continues to increase in size, and many fans out there are more than excited to see Thor: Love and Thunder. But can they watch the Asgardian’s fourth solo outing online?

It’s hard to tell these days what movies are available on the big screen and which titles are streaming on the small screen. Some titles skip the movies altogether, and some dual-wield a digital and cinematic release. The entertainment world can be tough to navigate sometimes, and it’s no surprise Thor fans are interested to know their options when it comes time to watch Love and Thunder.

The eighth film where Chris Hemsworth suits up as the titular charter in Thor: Love and Thunder has him reuniting once again with Academy Award-winner Taika Waititi, who writes and directs the Phase Four feature. He also plays Korg, who teams up with Thor, Jane Foster, and Valkyrie to put an end to Gorr the God Butcher’s diety-killing ways.

Russell Crowe and Jaimie Alexander are also in the star-studded cast, including Natalie Portman, Tessa Thompson, and Christian Bale. The story and the talent make the notable flick a worthwhile experience that many still wonder if they can watch online.

Is Thor: Love and Thunder available to watch online?

The fourth Thor film is not yet available online to watch, and it may be some time before the 29th Marvel MCU feature becomes available to fans to watch on their devices or at home. There isn’t really a consistent timeline Disney is following when it comes to going from the cinemas to streaming. But Thor 4 will be online to watch on a certain streaming service (as well as VOD services) sometime in the future.

Several titles in the Marvel Cinematic Universe have taken different timeframes going from the big to the small screen. It took 47 days for the Doctor Strange sequel to make its way to the world of streaming, and so far, that is the record for having the shortest wait for this to happen.

Is Disney Plus getting Thor: Love and Thunder?

Thor: Love and Thunder will indeed be coming to Disney+ at some point in the future. The Marvel films that are made by the House of Mouse always end up on its streamer, with some showing up sooner than others.

The well-received Shang Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings took 70 days to get to the streamer, and the poorly received Eternals took 68 days to make that move. Given how quickly Doctor Strange 2 debuted on Disney+, this bodes well for Thor: Love and Thunder doing the same.

Either way, expect it sometime around the 45+ day window after its release.
