A character or two could die in The Boys season 3’s finale on Amazon Prime Video. Here are their chances based on the show and their importance.

If there’s one thing you can count on in The Boys season 3 finale on Amazon Prime Video is death. You can also guess it’ll happen in a violent way.

This season has been wilder than normal (and that’s not including Herogasm!). There have been more violent moments than either of the previous seasons combined. All of that could be leading to the deaths of some of our favorite main characters.

Here are the important characters in the show and the chances that they’ll die in The Boys season 3 finale.

Billy Butcher

Billy Butcher is the lead character of The Boys and the team’s leader. During this season he’s been more of a jerk than normal. More than he has in the previous seasons and maybe even in the comics. There have been a lot of moments where he’s left his friends in the dark or kept secrets from them. In episode 7, Butcher lied to Hughie about how the Compound V24 they’re taking could kill them both. Nevertheless, no matter what he’s done, there’s no chance he’ll die in the season 3 finale.

Chance of death: 0%

Hughie

Hughie used to be the conscience of The Boys. He was the one who stood up to Butcher when he did awful things. He was also the only person on The Boys that Marvin Milk cared enough about to risk his life for.

In this season, Hughie lost the title of the heart of the team. He’s become more insecure about his role in his relationship with Starlight. He used to be okay with her being more powerful than him. Now that he’s gotten a taste of power (thanks to Compound V24), his attitude changed.

Because Hughie could be the most important part of the story, he will likely survive to see season 4.
