2. Annie January is one of The Boys

Despite everything she’s been through with The Seven and Vought International, Annie January still wanted to be a hero. Via social media, she continued to tell the world that Vought and Homelander were evil. The fight may be over, but the war continues. To help, Annie does something unlike the comic book: She officially joins The Boys.

Annie joining The Boys was a nice, but expected twist. This Annie January is nothing like the comic book. She’s more assertive and ready to sacrifice her life to save people. Something a true hero would do. Now The Boys have someone with superpowers and another person to make sure Butcher doesn’t get out of line.

1. Whatever he wants

This is where things get scary. Early in the finale, Homelander had The Deep kill a candidate for Vice President of the United States. This put Victoria Neuman in place to take the spot next to the likely next president, Robert “Dakota Bob” Singer.

It got worse. Homelander introduced the world to his son at a rally in front of Vaught International. When someone threw a bottle that hit Ryan, Homelander killed him with his laser eyes. After a hush fell over the crown, Todd (the stepfather of M.M.’s daughter) cheered for Homelander. This started the moment that made everyone cheer.

It’s now official. Homelander can do whatever the hell he wants. Season 4 is going to be even more diabolical than anything we’ve seen so far.
