What are the crucial moments of the fifth episode of Ms. Marvel? Find out right here.

One of the many things that this writer loves about Ms. Marvel is the way the show explores the history of India, Pakistan, and the Muslim religion. Episode 5 of the Disney Plus series was no different.

“Time and Again” immediately delves into the partition of India. Within that history came the story of Aisha. A touching tale that reveals how everything that’s happening in the show’s present came to fruition. It also reveals how Najma betrayed her friend and who helped save Sana (Kamala’s great-grandmother) and get her on the last train out of India.

There are other noteworthy moments from this episode, too. Here are the most important.

5. Najma killed Aisha

The last couple of episodes have shown that Najma isn’t a good person. She left her son on his own after he saved the Clandestine from Damage Control and doesn’t care about the world as long as she can get home. This isn’t the first time she’s done deplorable things. Back in the 1940s, she killed one of her closest friends.

Aisha made a life for herself. That included a husband and a daughter (Sana). When Najma found out that Aisha gave up on their mission, she gave Aisha one day to give her the bangle. When Aisha didn’t, she stabbed her. The shocking part is this leads to the next important moment.
