4. “What you seek is seeking you.”

Time travel is a big trope in comic books. It’s also become big in comic movies and TV shows. Ms. Marvel is the most recent to use this. When Najma hit Kamala’s bangle, Kamala was transported back in time. How did this happen? It was caused by a message Aisha left as she was dying.

Before she died, Aisha said, “What you seek is seeking you” into the bracelet. That sent her power into the bracelet and allowed Kamala into the past. If Najma hadn’t killed Aisha, then Kamala wouldn’t have gotten Sana on the train. Not only that. There are certainly other things that would have happened if Aisha would have left with her family. So everything that’s happened is really Najma’s fault.

3. Najma is dead

The portal back to the Clandestine’s home was open. When Feriha (one of the Clandestine) tried stepping into the portal, her skin was turned to stone and she died. Najma was willing to risk death. Kamala pleaded with her to not go in saying that she had Kamran. Najma, however, knew that she doesn’t and even said so. That said, before she steps into the portal to shut it and seals her fate, she says, “Kamran.” Her last word released her powers into her son.

Kamran in the comics was an antagonist – someone who ends up trying to recruit Kamala into a group called the Lineage. Could Kamran become a villain before the final credit rolls? Will he blame Ms. Marvel for the death of his mother.
