Season 3 of The Boys on Amazon Prime Video may be over, but the season finale left us with something major to talk about.

*** This article contains MAJOR SPOILERS from The Boys season 3 finale. Don’t read on if you haven’t seen the episode and don’t want it spoiled. ***

The Season 3 finale of The Boys was better than anyone could have hoped for. The final fight of the episode, between the heroes and Soldier Boy, went exactly like it should have, Annie January joined The Boys, and Homelander is now able to do whatever he wants.

However, Homelander’s emotional violence started some time before he killed someone during a rally. He killed the only member of The Seven that he ever considered family when he murdered Black Noir.

Soldier Boy called Homelander and told him that he was actually his biological father. This led to Homelander wondering if Black Noir knew the truth all along. When asked about it, Noir nods, confirming that he knew. Homelander got close to give his friend one more hug and put his hand through Noir’s abdomen, leaving dead in Vought International.

This may be the last we’ll see of Earving. However, it may not be the end of Black Noir.
