Vought International’s Plan all along

There’s no way that Vought International didn’t know about Soldier Boy being captured, right? Stan Edgar definitely knew. He’s the most clever character on The Boys. He’d absolutely tell Payback to soften Soldier Boy up so the Russians could take him. But why would Edgar do something like this? Because he saw the writing on the wall with the baby that would eventually become Homelander.

Soldier Boy is responsible for all sorts of atrocities. Viewers know what he did to Marvin Milk’s family. That was only one instant in decades of Soldier Boy being around. Vought knew that he’d have to be replaced. They were also aware that they’d need a contingency plan for him as well. That’s where the Russians came in. They could capture Soldier Boy, experiment on him, and create a way to stop Homelander if needed. They succeeded by giving Soldier Boy a radioactive blast that takes supes’ powers away. Now, Homelander is in charge of Vought International through pure intimidation. Thankfully, Vought has Soldier Boy.

Soldier Boy is in a medically induced coma with Vought International. Vought will make certain that they get anything they can from Soldier Boy’s power and, with that, they could create another Black Noir. Could this be their new plan for Homelander?

This time, they could line Noir’s suit with something that Homelander can’t see through. It’ll frustrate Homelander. At that point, he’ll try to kill him again. Homelander will soon learn that this new Black Noir isn’t the same when the new Noir is just as strong or stronger than him. And perhaps when the series is about to end, viewers will see that this Black Noir looks exactly like Homelander.
