Valkyrie deserves a Thor spin-off more than any other character in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Thor: Love and Thunder was definitely a Taika Waititi project. It was fun, bright, and had lots of comedy. It also feature some very powerful women with great portrayals. Of course there was Jane Foster. She was the Mighty Thor. As good as she was, the woman that stole the spotlight for this writer was Tessa Thompson’s Valkyrie.

There aren’t many characters that you can say were flawless. Tessa Thompson’s Valkyrie is one of them. She was so smooth and dominant without even trying – so much so that she deserves her own Disney Plus spin-off as soon as possible.

Throughout Thor: Love and Thunder, Tessa Thompson’s Valkyrie showed range. First, she was as entertaining as anyone. But she did it in the movie in her own way. Valkyrie wasn’t overly goofy because that’s not her personality. Her character was smooth and cynical and she shined being herself. When the scene required her to be serious and emotional, Tessa easily had the best moments. Viewers saw that Valkyrie was still hurting after she lost the woman she loved. She even spoke as if no one would ever take her place. This is something that could be a focal point of a Valkyrie project.
