Is Ms. Marvel season 2 happening? (season 2 release updates)

Is Ms. Marvel season 2 even a possibility at this point? 

The Marvel Cinematic Universe has expanded in unique and original ways since the arrival of the Disney Plus streaming service. Capable of providing the MCU with longer form stories that set the stage for new characters, these shows have opened up new worlds and adventures for fans to enjoy.

The most recent of those new worlds is the one we see in Ms. Marvel, more specifically, the one that it’s hero loves to live in. Kamala Khan, like so many viewers, enjoys living in the adventures of her mind – a mind full of love for all things superheroes (especially Captain Marvel). But when she discovers her own powers and her family’s story, those adventures manifest right before her eyes.

Ms. Marvel has been an overwhelming success for Disney Plus, with many critics calling it the best MCU series yet. The feedback it has received from fans has been positive, and they can’t wait to see Kamala return. The question is: When will Kamala return?

Will Ms. Marvel get a season 2?

The future for Ms. Marvel, the show, remains unclear. Marvel Studios has yet to comment on if the show will be getting a second season, and this lines up with the vast majority of MCU shows on Disney Plus. With the exception of Loki and What If…?, these shows are often produced as being miniseries, meaning that they are likely one-and-done. That said, it’s always best to wait for Marvel to make an announcement in regards to a potential second season.

As for Ms. Marvel, the character, though, she will return in next year’s motion picture The Marvels, as Iman Vellani reprises her role alongside Brie Larson and Teyonah Parris.

If Marvel does decide to bring Ms. Marvel back for a second season, it probably won’t happen until after The Marvels.
