Will Ms. Marvel air a new bonus episode tonight, July 20?

Will Disney Plus air a new episode of Ms. Marvel after the revelation of a mutation in Kamala Khan’s genes?
There was a lot to take in during episode 6 of Ms. Marvel. Kamala’s entire family now knows that she has powers (thanks to her father Yusuf being on speaker when her mother Muneeba told him). When things got bad, her family and friends helped protect her and Kamran from Damage Control. And, most importantly, Bruno told Kamala that there’s a kind of mutation in Kamala’s DNA. That must mean the X-Men are around the corner right? Maybe, maybe not.
Of course, this is Marvel Studios and it could mean nothing. Fans (this writer included) spent a year looking for Mephisto in everything: A fly in WandaVision to someone in Loki saying anything that involves death. However, this seems different. Mutants could officially be part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe and Ms. Marvel is the first.
The show aired six episodes throughout its run, but will Kamala Khan return for another adventure?
Is Ms. Marvel new tonight, July 20?
Unfortunately, Ms. Marvel won’t be airing a new episode tonight. The show has completed its first season on Disney Plus, so there won’t be any more new installments – for now, at least.
First, there’s the fact all the battles for the season have been won. Ms. Marvel saved Kamran, the Clandestine won’t attempt to go home for a while, and Damage Control was defeated. That’s on top of the mutant revelation and Kamala turning into Carol Danvers (Captain Marvel).
As for whether Marvel will renew the show for a second season, that remains to be seen.
Will Ms. Marvel return to Disney Plus?
Unfortunately, there won’t be another episode of Ms. Marvel anytime soon. Most of the MCU Disney Plus shows are miniseries, which means a second season isn’t always guaranteed if it doesn’t fit the story they were hoping to tell. But that doesn’t mean we won’t see the character again.
It looks like the earliest fans will see Kamala Khan is in the movies when The Marvels premieres next summer. If Marvel plans on renewing Ms. Marvel for a second season, we will likely hear after that film as it would undoubtedly take place after the events of it.
In the meantime, it’s best to wait for any kind of confirmation from Marvel Studios.
