6. J.J. Watt

This is a random selection, but it works. J.J. Watt is one of the most beloved players in any sport. A perfect example was during Hurricane Harvey when he helped raise millions of dollars for Houston relief. While that isn’t enough to make him Ben Grimm, it helps. It shows his heart. Something Ben Grimm has more than any other hero in comics.

Another attribute is his comedy. He’s shown his acting chops on The League. He kept up with that amazing cast and he looked good doing it. Watt did it on a bigger stage in 2020 when he hosted Saturday Night Live and did a fantastic job (pun intended). Plus, he has the size as well.

5. Big E

When this Fantastic Four article was in its infancy, Ettore Ewen a.k.a. WWE superstar Big E was the first person that came to mind. Everything about him screams Ben Grimm. They both played football on a collegiate level, have bright and fun personalities, and are protective of their loved ones.

Whenever Big E is with the New Day in the WWE or on their podcast, he’s jovial. However, when he needs to get down and fight, trust and believe it’s clobberin’ time. And at 285 pounds of muscle, he has the right build for the role.
