Black Panther: Wakanda Forever will be the final movie in Phase 4 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Phase 4 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe started with Black Widow in 2021 and continued with movies Shang Chi, Eternals, Spider-Man: No Way Home, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse, and Thor: Love and Thunder. Despite Marvel Studios’ success at the box office, some people have said this is the worst of the MCU Phase of movies. Considering gems Captain America: Winter Soldier, Iron Man, and Avengers: Infinity War that came in other phases, that isn’t bad.

People expect near perfection from their MCU movies. Unfortunately, not every project is going to be flawless. Even when that does happen, complaints will still be made. That being said, ending Phase 4 with Black Panther: Wakanda Forever is a perfect conclusion to what fans have seen from the movies.

The untimely and tragic death of Chadwick Boseman isn’t something that fans have gotten over. It’s doubtful that people will. But, as the phrase goes, the show must go on. There’s still a Wakanda and the African nation still needs the Black Panther to protect and lead them.

As of now, we don’t know who the next Black Panther is. Even though the assumption is that Shuri will be the one to take the mantle, there’s no guarantee it’ll be her. For all we know, the plan could be for Riri Williams to take over. Even though her show is called Iron Heart, things can change and the title can remain the same.

The only thing for certain is that fans can trust  Ryan Coogler to do whatever he can to make a phenomenal movie and do right by Chadwick Boseman and T’Challa. Black Panther: Wakanda Forever is scheduled to be released on Nov. 11, 2022.
