Marvel set to have an expanded presence at D23

Marvel is back in a big way with an expanded set of panels at this year’s 100th anniversary Disney celebration at D23 in September.
As we know Marvel is set to appear at this year’s D23 event, which kicks off Sept. 9 at 10:30 am in Anaheim, CA. However, as reported by Deadline, Walt Disney Co. has announced that not only will Marvel have a panel, fans can expect quite a few exciting things.
The first aspect of Marvel’s extended presence at the event comes on Friday, Sept. 9 at 2:00 p.m. That will be the Marvel Draw Live! Hosted by Marvel’s Director of Themed Entertainment Brian Cosby, the panel will offer a step-by-step tutorial on how to draw some of the most iconic villains and heroes known to Marvel.
On Saturday, Sept. 10, Marvel will play a role in showcasing various Disney titles, going behind the scenes, and seeing footage of everything in the works taking place in Hall D23. Fans who have been waiting for casting announcements and trailers may want to tune in as nothing has been yet confirmed to be showcased on the Marvel side we can possibly assume we will get some looks at the upcoming Multiverse Saga that we got a taste of at SDCC.

Saturday, September 10
10:00 a.m. – Marvel Studios Presentation in Hall D23 (also featuring Lucasfilm presentations as well)
1:30 p.m. Marvels Draw Live! Hosted by Brian Cosby on the D23 Expo Live Stage.
2:00 p.m. Marvel Comics: Celebrating 60 years of the Amazing Spider-Man. Nick Lowe and C.B. Cebulski will tag team the panel taking place on the Backlot Stage that traces the web-slinging hero back to his first appearance in 1962 to how his journey has expanded with him becoming one of the most popular Marvel heroes to date.
3:30 p.m. Disney Branded Television will off an exclusive sneak peek into the upcoming titles for Disney Plus and beyond.
5:30 p.m. Marvel’s Editor-in-Chief C.B. Cebulski and Nick Lowe will be signing autographs.
Of course, there are more events planned to get excited about as Disney will be showcasing all of their upcoming titles and behind-the-scenes look into this magical world. D23 will be capped off with an epic concert featuring Susan Egan.
D23 will take place September 9-11 in Anaheim, CA.
