Barbara Muschietti, the sister and producer of The Flash director’s movie, has teased the main trailer of the Scarlet Speedster should be coming soon…

For a superhero and comic book film adaptation as problematic as one speedster in red, the pitfalls this property has gone through have been mired in development hell and most recently legal issues and public scandals of the Hollyweird kind. However, there is news of when an official trailer for The Flash may come out as per ScreenRant.

When is The Flash trailer coming?

As stated by defacto producer and sister of filmmaking brother, Andy Muschietti for The Flash, Barbara Muschietti, responded to an Instagram post from one fan who requested for an official trailer to drop with the word “soon.”

While it does not tell us much as to when and where the trailer of The Flash will drop, judging from the current release date which is June next year in 2023, this writer reckons the first official trailer will drop either October 2022 or December 2022, though it is entirely dependent on the marketing strategy that is being employed by Warner Bros. in light of the legal matters that ensue, which has brought us to the elephant in the room.

How does Ezra Miller affect The Flash’s release?

It is not known how the new regime under Warner Bros. Discovery CEO David Zaslav will handle the recurring allegations and legal disputes revolving around their leading man, Ezra Miller, which has progressed since the altercations in Hawaii back in March.

What is clear is there is no replacing Miller for now, but his career as the Scarlet Speedster in future DC Films may not see the light of day no matter how well the multiverse level event performs at the box office and via subscriptions.

The Flash stars Ezra Miller, Ben Affleck, Michael Keaton, Ron Livingston, Kiersey Clemons, Maribel Verdú, Sasha Calle, Michael Shannon, Antje Traue, and Rudy Mancuso.

Andy Muschietti is directing from a screenplay by Christina Hodson based on a screen story by Joby Harold, John Francis Daley, and Jonathan Goldstein, Barbara Muschietti and Michael Disco are producing. Marianne Jenkins serves as an executive producer.

The high-speed multiversal superhero film is being produced by The Disco Factory in association with Double Dream and DC Films. Warner Bros. Pictures is distributing.

The Flash is set to exit the Speed Force and hit theaters on June 23, 2023.
