10 Marvel, DC and comic book characters (and their biggest weaknesses)
By Mark Lynch
What are some of your favorite comic book characters’ weaknesses? The answers will shock you.
Comic book heroes and villains are known for having fantastical powers. They travel all over the world, back and forth through time, and sometimes even to alternate realities. A perfect example of this is Superman. The Man of Steel has superhuman strength, super hearing, super vision, laser eyes, super speed, invulnerability and so much more. You’d assume with all of these abilities that he’d be unbeatable. That’s far from the truth.
Fans of Superman know that Kryptonite is his big weakness. It can make him weak, vulnerable, and be shaped to pierce his body. Another thing that can take him down is magic. Even touching some magical objects can hurt him. There’s nothing he can do against that. There are also beings like Darkseid that can hurt him with physical attacks.
There are other comic book characters that have other weaknesses. Take Spider-Man for example. The Wall-Crawler’s morality is one of his greatest attributes and is part of what makes him Marvel Comics’ world’s premiere heroes. It’s also his biggest weakness.
Coming up, we have ten comic book characters and the things that can take him down. Maybe permanently.
