Marvel: There’s a method to what seems to be the MCU’s madness
By Mark Lynch
Marvel’s Secret Wars
As much as this writer has advocated for none of the Marvel shows and movies not being connected, they will in the end. At some point, all of the heroes and villains will come together in a final project. That much is certain. According to multiple rumors coming from Marvel Studios, Secret Wars is the event that will rival Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame. It’s also the story that will bring everyone together against a common enemy. That villain could be Doctor Doom or Kang.
If there are movies that aren’t something you want to venture out to see, wait until they pop up on Disney Plus or they’re available for digital download. Once the final project is announced, fans will have at least a year before it debuts. That’s more than enough time to catch up on everything they missed. Plus, it’s cheaper and easier to watch once you can view them from your home.
This writer will say it one last time. The Marvel Cinematic Universe isn’t jumbled. The change is not everything being connected all at once. While they may eventually, it’s not happening right now. Most of the important things will happen in Avengers-centric projects. Until everything is revealed, give Marvel a chance. It’s not like they stopped the production of Batgirl.
