I Am Groot release time on Disney Plus (by time zone)

I Am Groot is coming to Disney Plus this week, but when does the Marvel Studios series of shorts premiere in your neck of the woods?

As we wait for the next Marvel Studios series to premiere on Disney Plus (She-Hulk: Attorney At Law), we are being treated to a special series of shorts set in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The star of those shorts is Groot and it goes without saying that we are super excited to catch up with the beloved Guardian of the Galaxy.

An animated series of shorts, I Am Groot will unveil five short adventures depicting the character’s younger days as Baby Groot. Those won’t be the only outings we’ll get from him before he returns in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 (or the upcoming The Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special), though, as it was confirmed at San Diego Comic-Con that a second round of shorts will follow in the future.

But we’re getting ahead of ourselves. The first five shorts are almost upon us, but when can you expect them to premiere in your neck of the woods?

The first five shorts of I Am Groot premiere on Disney Plus in the US on Wednesday, August 10, 2022. They premiere at midnight Pacific Time, meaning that those on the East Coast can enjoy them from 3:00 a.m. ET.
